Wireless vs. Wired

Recently we worked with a small business who was in the process of re-locating to a new office space.  When our client first started looking at remodeling the lease space, they contacted a local contractor.  The contractor recommended a traditional build-out running 4 cabling connections for each office, 8 for the conference room, and 2 more for the printing station.  In total it added up to 40 cabling connectios at $200/each equalling $8,000.  We showed the client that by enabling mobility and implementing wireless Access Points we were able to cut the cost in half $4,000.  The cost savings allowed our client to invest their capital in much more needed areas.
